Financial Aid - Scholarships, Grants, and Info

The list below is meant to give you a few ideas for sources of student funding.** Since much of the information is contained in external links, we cannot warrant its accuracy, but provide it as a convenience to you.

The CSU Freshman Scholarship Guide

Freshmen admitted to Colorado State University may receive the Student Financial Services brochure entitled "Invest in Your Journey," which lists scholarships at Colorado State University. The Freshman Scholarship Guide also lists general information about financial aid and scholarships at Colorado State University.

The College Opportunity Fund at CSU

COF provides state tax dollars starting fall 2005 to eligible undergraduate students who are classified as Colorado residents for tuition classification purposes to help pay tuition at Colorado State University.

Colorado Department of Higher Education

The Colorado Commission lists some sources of financial aid, including privately funded scholarships offered by various entities throughout the state.

FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a good place to start when seeking federal aid.

FinAid.org

FinAid was established in the fall of 1994 as a public service. This award-winning site has grown into the most comprehensive source of student financial aid information, advice and tools -- on or off the web.

FastWeb

Updated continuously by the company's own dedicated research team, FastWeb's database contains over 1.3 million scholarships worth over $3 billion.

College Board's Scholarship Search

The College Board's Scholarship Search database contains 2300 sources of college funding, totalling nearly $3 billion dollars.

CollegeinColorado.org

CollegeInColorado.org is a student services website representing the colleges and universities of Colorad and contains some information about sources of scholarships.

 

**Financial aid can come from a number of sources, including both governmental and private entities. CSU Parents/Families encourages all students to apply for any scholarship/grant for which they qualify.

RamCash

RamCash can be used to buy food and beverages at Durrell Express, the Lory Student Center, any Residential Dining center, Aspen Grille, Cam's Corner Store, and Cram-A-Latte in the Morgan Library. RamCash can now also be used to purchase parking permits, pay parking fines, and obtain other services from Parking Services. Parents: The money you put in your student's RamCash account is the money your student can spend on meals and snacks. RamCash accounts help you budget by allocating money to your student that can only be used for dining and other CSU-related services.
